Google Searches Academic Research

Yesterday, TMC Company President Rich Tehrani alerted us to a new Google search tool that indexes scholarly research, Google Scholar:

Google Scholar does appear to index very different materials from conventional Google. For example, a search on "Natalie Curtis Burlin," one of my research subjects, in regular Google brings up my Web site about her as the first listing. But a Scholar search yields just two references, both from academic collections I had not been aware of before.
